For a movie to get really good feedback and favour from the audience would be such a surprise especially with the fact that it does not have veteran actors starring in it. It is here where we can say that the saying “Never judge a book by its cover” is applicable because despite the unadorned title is one movie that is full of sense and gives an invigorating film that makes it stick out from the rest of the ‘small time’ films. You would be surprised as to how the film amuses you the minute you start watching it until it ends.

The storyline is basic as it is a love story about a boy and girl who falls in love. But what makes it different is how the Sargunam approached to directing the with the aid of cinematographer Om Prakash.

It all begins with Arikki (Vimal) who is the naughty son of Saranya and Ilavarasu. His finances are met by either misleading or menacing his mother while his father works hard in Dubai. He wastes his time on money on gambling and spending it over his friends. His mischievousness doesn’t just end there because he fools a lot with girls by asking their hand for marriage. Things suddenly take a turn when he meets Maheswari (Oviya), the sister of Ilango (Thirumurugan) who becomes the hindrance to their happy ending.

But because Arikki is the adventurous type and always makes sure he gets what he wants, he of course defies all limits and eventually marries Maheswari. But the question as to how it all happened should be left to watching the movies for yourself to see the exceptional way it all happened. It will really bolt you from the blue and keep you rolling in the floor of laughter  with all the funny quips and happenings.

Vimal definitely made a successful comeback of his Pasanga chapter. The rest of the cast like Saranya adn Ilavarasu were flawless in giving justice to their role. Karuppu was just hilarious in the film which added a little spice saving the movie from being boring and too typical.

The cinematography was really outstanding. If there is one fall back in the film it would be the dialect because if most of the movie goers would be from the city it would really give them a hard time understanding it but other than that everything else is spectacular.

The music of S.S. Kumaran did well too and was properly shot. This Indie film is one work of art that managed to pull it off well making it different from the rest of the films in its genre. It is indeed candid and will not make you regret watching it.
