Satish Kaushik is known as the remake king who attempts to make the Serendipity movie of John Cusak be seen in the Tamil cinema version. Shahid and Kareena who has now broken up would have convinced the audiences a bit more if they were really together but even so, Milenge Milenge conveyed to the audiences what it is really about.
The film revolves around Kareena who is waiting for her Mr. Right and Shahid Kapoor is the one who is letting Kareena know that he is Mr. Right and is in love with her. Mr. Right is Shahid but it comes out a little too late as Kareena leaves out a trail. A note that is worth fifty rupees that has Shahid’s name and number and Kareena’s name and number in book that passed from book stall to another. The question now is will destiny let them be together?
There is no doubt that Satish Kaushik is one dazzling actor who is not able to accomplish a lot of success in the films that he ventured in. The storyline came out as somewhat out of date. The acting was just exaggerated and the comedy was ridiculous as well as with the screenplay that came out dull.
It is sad but true that the only plusses in this film are the cameo of Satish Kaushik and the exceptional peek into the sexiness of Aarti Chabbaria. Kareena Kapoor seemed uninterested in whatever she is doing. She was not able to be convincing enough nor did she give justice to her role. Shahid did come out fresh looking but his exaggerated acting skills are just not pleasing. The usual overacting Delnaz Paul is there while Satish Shah and Kiron Kher were very monotonous in terms of their emotion.
In terms of its technical aspect, the film looks outdated. The cinematography of S Sriram would have looked better if only the movie was released earlier than it was supposed to and this goes with the rest of the crew. The songs of Himesh were not that catchy and could have been better.
On the whole, no one would have thought that Shahid and Kareena has already broken up because of this movie that had been kept all these years.
