In a world full of chaos caused by dishonest people especially those who are supposed to protect citizens such as cops, Thambi Arjuna certainly made its way to making sure that the film is packed with a lot of sense. This film has social importance of how cops get in alliance with criminals for personal reasons.

The script definitely showed potential but it all came out different in the screen. It became hard to showcase this focus on societal flaw because carrying it out lacked confidence from the whole film. The movie ended up looking like a raw film.

Thambi Arjuna begins with Feroz Khan as an underworld don whose success relies on his illegal transactions and has the city commissioner Suman as an ally. Suman is really not a bad cop for he gets Help from the don and theirs is a give and take relationship. The whole thing twists when Ramana who happens to be the brother of Feroz falls in love with Ashima who is the daughter of Suman.

The whole thing heats up when Suman opens up the topic of Ramana and Ashima’s wedding which puts down Feroz. Ramana, as expected, returns to Suman the humiliation which makes Feroz think of the gap they have in their implausible solidarity. After all this, Feroz then starts his life again by doing away with his illegal businesses.

Meanwhile, Ramana works with Suman to save Ashima from an extortionist which leads to Suman getting the chance to fight back against Feroz. With whatever happens to that should something to look out for in the climax of the film.

The script of the film is a civilized one if it just took away its hackneyed lines. The acting prowess of Feroz definitely shined all throughout the film. The rest of the actors acted on a scale that is between acceptable to just standard. The music of Dheena is not that catchy but still it sets off the movie.

Overall, the script of Vijay R Anand was promising and came out as something that was socially important that lifted up the issue of cops and criminals working as allies. Though the movie has a number of notable flaws, it still has parts that are worth praises.
