Mysskin was able to quickly come out with Yudham Sei soon after the release of Nandalala. Yudham Sei is a movie that falls under the thriller genre and is even thought of as an upshot of Anjathey but it is actually not even close to that. It may not be the typical commercially done film but has a lot to offer to sophisticated audiences.
If there is one thing that makes Yudham Sei great is how its storyline is direct to the point thus simpler to understand. It basically is about a CBCID officer who investigates about the odd crimes occurring in the city and as he goes deeper into his detective work, he unravels surprising criminals. As a CID officer, he basically goes in search of the killers and the killers also brining a motive with them do what they need to do and in the end of it all, something unexpected awaits.
What makes this film worth watching is how the details and the narration of the movie are done. Although Tamil cinema has already been filled with lots of detective thrill movies, Yudham Sei seems to have given out a much fresh kind of movie under this genre.

In terms of acting skills, Cheran clearly has given out his all. The way he gives out his emotions and how his police officer role is done is truly why he should stay as an actor. No one could have done it better than he did. The supporting cast have also done very well. The important characters of Mahendra, Jayaprakash and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan will surely surprise the audience especially during the climax of the movie.
As for the technical aspect of the movie, Sathya and musical director K have surely been a big Help to the director. How the angles were taken were very interesting—another reason why Yudham Sei really stands out.
